I’m once again in baking fever. This time I wanted to do some muffins. They are quick and easy made. I totally like baking some. I came up with Marble Muffins as I didn’t have any chocolate chips at home.
For 12 muffins
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 cup soft butter
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extrakt
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons unsweeted cocoa powder
Preheat the oven to 350° F and prepare a muffin tin with paper cups.
Mix flour, salt and baking powder together in a bowl.
Mix the butter and the sugar together in a second bowl until it’s creamy. Then add the eggs into the mixture and beat until everything is well combined. After that add the vanilla extract.
Add the flour mixture and the milk slowly and beat the mixture on medium speed until all is smooth.
Put a little less than 1/4 cup into each paper cup so that a little of the dough stays in the bowl.
Stir the unsweeted cocoa powder into the left over and beat it until it’s well combined. Devide it among the 12 paper cups.
Bake the muffinss for 20 to 25 minutes.
Let the muffins cool for 5 minutes on the tin and then put them on a wire cooling rack to cool completely.
